The shorts sit at the natural waist on an elastic band and stay close to the leg. Rayon jersey with a bit of stretch, so it gives where it needs to.

The neckline does the work
The neck is cut wide enough to sit two ways. Straight across, it reads as a boat neck — clean, a bit sculptural, fine for anywhere you'd wear a normal top. Pulled to one side, it drops off the shoulder and the whole set turns into something else entirely.

Can I wear it out of the house?
That's what it's designed for. The fitted shorts and the wide neckline are what keep it from reading as pyjamas — with sneakers it's an errand outfit, with sandals and a bag it's a dinner one.
Does the top stay off the shoulder?
It sits where you put it. The neck is cut wide and the fabric has enough weight to hold the position, but it's a soft jersey, not a structured neckline — expect it to shift a little as you move. If you want it to stay put all day, wear it as a boat neck.
What size should I take?
Your usual. The top is meant to be oversized, so sizing up mostly adds length rather than ease. Size down only if you want it closer to the body — it'll sit less easily off the shoulder that way.
Can I wear the pieces separately?
