How it works
During the day, the built-in polycrystalline solar panel charges the battery automatically. At dusk, the smart light sensor switches the lamp on by itself — no timers, no switches. The UV light attracts flying insects, which are eliminated instantly on contact with the internal high-voltage electric grid. A full charge gives you 8–10 hours of protection through the night. Then it recharges itself all over again.

- Peel the protective film off the solar panel before first use
- Place in direct sunlight for 2 full days to fully charge the battery
- Push the ground stake into lawn or soil — or use the hanging hook on a fence or pergola
- Position 10–15 feet from seating areas for maximum effectiveness
- Keep away from streetlights or bright porch lamps — competing light can prevent UV activation
- To clean: use a soft dry brush or compressed air on the grid. Never spray water directly into the electronics

Yes. The ABS casing is rated IP65 waterproof, so rain won't damage it. On cloudy days the solar panel still charges — just more slowly. We recommend placing it somewhere with the most direct sunlight possible, and doing the full 2-day initial charge on a sunny day for best performance.
